Israel Adesanya suffers first career UFC defeat by Jan Blachowicz

This is the first ever defeat Israel Adesanya has suffered in his UFC fighting days and it was no other than Jan Blachwicz who gave a perfect rendition on the game.

The Nigeria-born UFC fighter Israel Adesanya was preparing to become a two times champion in the UFC but all hopes was dashed by the sensational Jan.

Jan Blachowicz was all on an elated mood after he brought down Nigerian undefeated UFC fighter Adesanya by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-45, 49-45). Jan victory helped in retaining his light heavyweight championship under the stands light of the UFC 259.

The Nigeria-born UFC fighter Israel Adesanya has gone on an undefeated streak in the UFC, with the current UFC middleweight title, was preparing to be the fifth ever fighter in the UFC record to be in possession of two championship titles unarguably.

The defeat serves as Israel Adesanya’s first ever in his professional MMA fighting career where it takes his massive score (undefeated streak) to 20-1.

Israel Adesanya is still undefeated at middleweight as he is the current holder of the UFC title.

Jan throwing a heavy hand strike at Israel

Jan Blachowicz registered a whooping 107-78 edge in subsequent strike, outplaying and scintillated the Nigerian fighter in every single phase, including a shocking 28-12 in the fifth round. Two UFC judges gave the result for the last phase 10-8 in favour of Jan Blachowicz.
In addition, Jan Blachowicz (28-8) has clinched five victories in an undefeated run. Jan also sealed the UFC light heavyweight championship in defeating Dominick Reyes by second-round TKO at UFC 253 back in September, 2020. Israel Adesanya who is an ex champion in kickboxing, sealed the victory of his previous nine game in the UFC before suffering a huge defeat on Saturday, 7th March 2021.
